Consultant Chris Lipscombe has worked for many years in local government, corporate and business marketing, business development, publishing and ICT, and is an experienced strategic planner, facilitator and project manager. Chris has particular experience in broadband and digital content issues, from an industry and government perspective. He has worked for clients in NZ, Australia, UK, Singapore and Dubai, and has extensive contacts through North Asia. Consultant Christine Makumbe is an experienced policy analyst and report writer, with particular experience in ICT, geospatial information and local government funding issues. She has a strong interest and focus on the interface between central and local government and how the relationship between the two levels of government can be enhanced for the benefit of all New Zealanders. Christine has a particular interest in what being digital means for local and regional government. Consultant Annette Gittos commissions and leads strategy development and research projects for her clients, with public and private sector experience across industries as diverse as film and biotechnology. Annette has particular expertise in regional economic development and working on opportunities for the education sector. Writer and communications consultant Shelly Biswell helps clients understand and communicate effectively to key stakeholders, including customers. suppliers, partners, employees, board members, politicians and funders. Shelly has particular experience in working with government and not-for-profit organisations on sustainability projects, for delivery across a range of traditional and electronic media. Writer, communications consultant and media specialist Diana Burns has 30 years of experience in media and communications. She has worked extensively in radio and print, done some television work, and has excellent contacts in all branches of the media. A skilled communicator, Diana is also a natural connector who excels at joining the dots and making complex ideas clear. Yenping Yeo specialises in research and evaluation in the ICT policy and information management domains. Yenping is a trained librarian with a particular interest in investigating new research problems in emerging technologies and social media. She has worked in the information sector for the governments of Singapore and New Zealand. Researcher Alexandra Bourne provides primary and secondary research and writing assistance across a range of projects and disciplines. Alexandra is currently completing her Bachelor of Laws degree at Victoria University of Wellington.
